Backcourt with Children Playing

Quality giclée print from an original pastel artwork by Glasgow artist Catherine Neville.

This nostalgic Glasgow tenement scene captures children playing in a traditional backcourt while washing hangs outside a blonde sandstone tenement. The windows reflect a summer sky, bringing warmth and colour to this familiar scene of old Glasgow life.

Originally created in pastel, the artwork is professionally reproduced as a high-quality giclée print on thick 300gsm Hahnemühle paper using archival inks for lasting colour and detail.

A lovely piece of Scottish wall art and a thoughtful gift for anyone with memories of Glasgow tenements, a connection to the city, or a love of Glasgow architecture and nostalgic Scottish art.

Printed with a white border.
